So I’ve realized that my habits are not unlike many others’. I do, however, feel that we all have created a very dull routine for ourselves. I, for instance, wake up, shower, brush my teeth, *MAYBE* eat something, and rush off to school. Today was different. I woke up early than normal, received a massage, took a nice calming shower (as opposed to the rushing shower), and am now lounging and eating while I kill time. I feel much more productive already and have yet to do anything. I wonder if it is because I am not used to this and it is a new experience. Could be. Regardless I am much less crabby and awake than I usually am for waking up so much earlier than normal. I will have to do further research on the topic…
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I’m not sure about the the universe.

As mentioned in my previous post, I am trying to organize myself. I have been doing a great job actually. I am 95% finished with my clothes. I know that doing laundry doesn’t sound like getting organized but trust me, if you’ve ever seen how much clothes I have thrown around in my room, you’d know it was quite the feat. Tomorrow I plan on getting started on my room and actually cleaning it! I know, I know, exciting… NOT! My car is clean, my clothes are clean, the only part that needs to be completed is my room. I’m going to maintain it clean this time around, its a promise. I am also transfering my main computer to my mother’s room so that I no longer have that computer console area in my stuff. It is going to clear up a lot of area and I will be able to put a like wardrobe drawer there. It is going to look so much nicer, I can feel it.
So lets talk about how the New York Giants beat on the Patriots. I love it. As much as I love Bill Belichick, I really didn’t want him going undefeated the same season he gets caught cheating. Next season I’m all for it, but the likelihood of that happening twice in a row is like slim to none so whatever. I am so very happy. Can you imagine how Mr. Archie Manning is feeling? Although he was never able to achieve it, BOTH of his sons (in consecutive years, no less) have won Super Bowls. I’m pretty sure they are the first to do so.
I was going to write more because I had more in my mind but I don’t necessarily remember it anymore. I was typing to Danielle while she was on the phone with Tori and it was an experience. I talked a whole bunch of nonsense while she tried to have a serious conversation, it was fun… really.
So I have decided to become much more organized, as I feel that I am rather lackluster in that area. I started researching programs that could aide me in my quest and found that although there is an abundance of decent products for the Macintosh platform the opposite stands true for Windows. I have been literally searching for about three days and have found MAYBE one product that I might possibly be able to work with. Seriously why is it that good products are developed for the Mac but not for Windows? Don’t programmers look around and notice, “Hey, they have programs for Mac that I can actually migrate to Windows.” Am I seriously the only person who seems to think that its easier to rip off someone else’s idea?
In either case, I did come across a web-based organization tool (but even with that, the creators operate on Mac platform). I understand why, the Mac platform has been ahead of the game for a while now but due to the iPod boom finally got some notice. Mr. Gates is trying really hard to step his game up, as evident by Windows Vista, so props to him. But seriously, he couldn’t have made it backwards compatible with prior versions of the OS? As always I am venturing off to a different topic, I apologize. I definitely recommend Backpack (www.backpackit.com) to anyone who is trying to get organized. The basic free version is nice, but the $5 a month upgrade comes with 500MB of storage (nowadays that is actually kind of insulting low but whatever), which in turn allow you to post any document you might need in the future, and most importantly the Calendar. The Backpack Calendar is such a great tool. The best thing of all is that you can set up your account so that Backpack sends your reminders to your cell via SMS. YAY!!!
